Garlic and Herb Prosciutto Hors Devours Recipe

I made these hors d’oeuvres one day when we wanted something more than a little snack. Something with a lot flovar but not to much spice. It was the perfect movie night after dinner snack and was served with sparkling apple juice.

1 Loaf French Baguette
1 Package Sliced Prosciutto
1 Mozzarella Ball
1 Small Tub Black Pitted Olives In Herbs And Oil
4 Tablespoons Olive Oil
1 Teaspoon Salt
1 Teaspoon Garlic
1 Teaspoon Parsley


Step 1
Slice Baguette in 1 inch slices and slice mozzarella into ½ inches slices.

Step 2
In a small bowl mix together olive oil, salt, garlic, and parsley.

Step 3
With a basting brush lightly brush olive oil mixture onto each Baguette slice.

Step 4
Place a mozzarella slice on top of each Baguette slice, followed by a half slice of prosciutto, topped with and olive.

Step 5
Grill in microwave with a grill or in a the oven. In the microwave grill, grill for 5 minutes or until cheese is soft but not runny. In the oven roast at 350°F/180°C for 5 to 10 minutes or until cheese is soft but not runny. Bread may get slightly golden brown which is good. Remove from microwave or oven and serve warm.
