Smoked Salmon and Cucumber Flowers Recipe

This cute little salmon flowers make a cool and refreshing appetizer or snack on any occasion. We made these for our family movie night on a whim but we also like to make them for high tea sometimes. However they would be prefect for weddings and are fairly easy to make.

Ingredients

8oz/200g Smoked Salmon Slices
8oz/200g Cream Cheese
1 Large Cucumber
1 Teaspoon Fresh Dill Chopped (Optional)

Instructions

Step 1
Whip cream cheese until soft and then scoop it into a star tipped piping bag and set to the side.

Step 2
Slice Cucumber to ¼ of an inch slices and pipe tree cream cheese stars on each cucumber slice.

Step 3
Slice each slice of smoked salmon into two or three long strips. Roll the salmon slice into a funnel shape and gently press down on the outer rim to make the shape of a flower. If the flower is to large for the cucumber sliced cut the salmon slice in half and roll it again. Gently press flower into the center of the three cream cheese stars. Serve chilled.

(Optional) Step 4
Sprinkle fresh dill on top of salmon cucumber flowers before serving.
