Tandoori Chicken Recipe

Tandoori Chicken is an Indian best known for its orange color. It gets its color from the spices mixed with yogurt. When the dish is cooked the ingredients infuse together causes the orange color to appear. If the dish is made properly the chicken will turn orange and taste delicious.

Ingredients

1LB (1/2kg) Chicken Legs

½ Teaspoons Red Chilli Powder (if you don’t want it’s spicy use Paprika)

 ¼ Teaspoon Turmeric Power

1 Tablespoon Gram Masala

½  Teaspoon Dried Fenugreek Leaves

1 Teaspoon Coriander Powder

¼ Teaspoon Salt

½ Cup Greek Yogurt

1 Tablespoon Fresh Lemon Juice

½ Teaspoon Ginger Garlic Paste

1 Teaspoon Olive Oil

Instructions

Step 1 – Mix all dry ingredients together and set to the side

Step 2 – Mix all wet ingredients together and then mix in the dry ingredients until well combined.

Step 3 – Coat chicken in yogurt mixture and marinate it in the refrigerator 2 hours to over night.

Step 4 – Once chicken is done marinating preheat oven to 350°F/176°C.

Step 5 – Place chicken on baking sheet and bake for 40-45 minutes or until chicken is fully cooked

For BBQ – Barbecue chicken for 25-30 minutes or until chicken is done making sure to rotate chicken every 3-5 minutes depending on your heat levels.
