Spinach dip is a family favorite on the holidays but the kids always had one concern. They wanted the spinach dip to be easier to actually dip. So I made this recipe a real creamy easily dippable spinach dip.
1 200g Bag Baby Spinach
1 8oz Tub Cream Cheese
1 Cup Cooking Cream
1 ½ Cups Mozzarella
½ Cup Parmesan Cheese
1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
1 Teaspoon Onion Powder
1 Teaspoon Salt
Wash spinach and set to the side to let all of the water drip out. You can also put it through a salad spinner.
While the spinach is drying add all of the remaining ingredients into a medium sauce pan over medium low heat stirring consistently until all the cheese has melted.
Chop spinach into small pieces and add them into the cheese sauce and cover the pan with a lid and let simmer for 5 minutes or until spinach is fully cook.
Once spinach is fully cooked add the dip to a oven or microwave safe dish and sprinkle mozzarella on top. Grill in microwave or under an oven broiler on high for 5 minutes or until cheese is golden brown. Serve with your favorite bread or with chips.
