Sometimes you just need that little something extra to go with dinner, or a snack and you just don’t have time to send hours making bread. This is actually what happened to me on the day I made this recipe. I was hungry and in need a quick snack with some flavour. We don’t really keep snack foods in the house so chips, store bought cookies, and even sliced bread was not around. But when only a hour before the babies nap 30 minutes before the next work meeting well time was ticking and hunger was looming. So I candied some onions while whipping up some quick dough and quick onion dinner rolls were born. In 50 minutes we had hit tasty dinners and time left to eat them before nap time. Even the baby enjoyed the snack and ended up sleeping almost three hours. I would say that 50 minutes was time well spent and I got a nice long nap in myself that day. So if you need a quick healthy snack and a nice long nap I’m sure this recipe won’t let you down.
