Chicken And Yellow/Orange Cauliflower Stir Fry Recipe

Yellow/Orange Cauliflower also known as cheddar cauliflower. It is a sweeter version of cauliflower with the added benefit of beta-carotene due to its yellow color. The beta-carotene promotes eye health and the flavor is lighter and sweeter than white cauliflower. In this dish I paired yellow cauliflower with chicken wings, baby corn and green beans to accent it’s sweet and creamy flavor.

Ingredients

½ Head Cauliflower

1 Pound Chicken Wings

2 Cups Green Beans Halved

2 Small Package Baby Corn Halved

1 Teaspoon Onion Powder

¼ Teaspoon Garlic Powder

2 Tablespoon Olive Oil

¼ Cup Water

Salt To Taste

Instructions

Step 1 In a medium pan on medium heat fry chicken wings in 1 tablespoon of olive oil, fry until fully cooked.

Step 2 Add in yellow cauliflower, corn, and green beans, and water and steam with lid on until tender but still crunchy.

Step 3 Remove lid and add in another tablespoon of olive oil and the spices and salt and fry until everything is golden brown or until your desired texture is reach. Serve with rice and enjoy!
