Fluffy Strawberry Yogurt Scones Recipe

This is another Sunday brunch favorite at Our Little Chateau. These scone are easy to cut into fun shapes and have a light vanilla and strawberry flavor that isn’t to over powering. They are wonderful to eat on their own or with jam.


  • 3 1/2 Cups All-Purpose Flour 
  • 1 Teaspoon Baking Powder 
  • ¼ Teaspoon Baking Soda 
  • ⅓ Cup Sugar 
  • 8 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter Chilled 
  • ½ Cup Full Fat Greek Yogurt 
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • ½ Cup Diced Strawberries


Step 1

Preheat oven to 400°F/204°C

Step 2

In a stand mixer add all dry ingredients and mix until well combine.

Step 3

Next mix in all wet ingredients plus the diced strawberries and mix until well combined.

Step 4

Once mixed dough should be soft but not sticky and easy to press flat. Flatten and use a cookie cutter to cut into desired shaped.

Step 5

Place cut out dough on parchment lined baking sheets and bake in preheated oven at 400°F/204°C for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
