Banana Bread Recipe

Nothing say warm fuzzy feelings like a nice warm fresh baked loaf bread. When it’s banana bread sometimes you wish the smell would never leave the house. This recipe works best with bananas that are over ripe and very soft.


  • 2 Cups All-purpose Flour
  • 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
  • ¼ Teaspoon Salt
  • ½ Cup Salted Butter
  • ¾ Cup Brown Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 3 Overripe Bananas
  • Chopped Walnuts – as many as your heart desires or 1/4 cup if you can’t decide 😉

Step 1 Preheat oven to 350°F

Step 2 Mix all dry ingredients in a stand mixer until well combined.

Step 3 Add in all wet ingredients and mix until smooth

Step 4 Pour into bread pan and bake for one hour.

Step 5 Let cool just enough to where you don’t burn yourself serving it. Serve hot or warm.
